Leon White graduated from Charles Herbert Flowers High School in Maryland with high honors. He went on to pursue his degree in mechanical engineering at North Carolina A&T State University and graduated summa cum laude in the top 2% of his class. He is currently pursuing his PhD in mechanical engineering with concentrations in biodegradable magnesium alloys. It is his hopes that through his research that he will be able give major contributions to the biomedical field with human implants. Life comes with its many challenges and with the help of those around him; he is prepared to handle them. He lives by Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
