Important Contributions:

(i) Development of a process to grow dielectric and ferroelectric films at relatively low temperatures on silicon substrates,
(ii) Discovery of advantageous roles of silver metal generic to the growth of oxide thin films with significantly improved properties,
(iii) Application of pulsed laser for post CMP cleaning of semiconductors,
(iv) Synthesis of a novel compound in thin film form exhibiting a colossal magnetoresistance behavior needed in high density recording medium,
(v) Optimization of photolithography and etching processes for microwave device fabrication of high temperature superconducting thin films.
